In Dôle, about 1 hour away from us, there are several possibilities to go on the water.
You can chug along the canals near Dôle for an hour on a float and learn a lot of interesting information about the town of Dôle.
On the way, they pass a lock and enjoy the avenues of plane trees along the canal.

Or you can hire a houseboat from the Nicols boat hire company, located in the same port.
